"I like my coffee with cream and my literature with optimism"

It's not everyday that you can afford to go out and relish that CCD or Starbucks cappuccino. But it's every day that you wish you had it. This one is for those days. Brew it up! Gulp it down!

Preparation Time : 8 minutes

Serves 2

Ingredients:

Instant coffee powder : 2 tablespoons

Sugar : 4 tablespoons

Hot water : 2 tablespoons

Milk : 2 cups

Recipe:

Whip up the coffee powder and sugar in hot water using a whisk/blender or fork.

Keep whisking till it becomes stiff and light and peaks start forming.

(For pictorial on how to whip up the coffee, refer this link on the blog on dalgona coffee . Click here✔ )

Keep the whipped coffee aside.

Boil milk. The twist to get your homemade cappuccino is here. Don't let the milk boil by itself plainly.

Steam the milk on medium flame . Let it simmer until bubbles form around the edges. On sim mode, keep whipping the milk continuously so that you get a nice froth. (I'm sorry! I missed clicking pictures of this step)

Add a spoon of the milk foam into the serving cup

Next add a spoonful of whipped cream .

You may preserve the whipped coffee up to 5 days in your refrigerator and enjoy that cuppa whenever you want to, without spending time on whipping it up every time.

Enjoy your cuppa. Add in hazelnut/ chocolate flavours if you prefer. I love my cappuccino hazelnut flavoured. 🤤
